Our clinic is an established full-service animal hospital looking to hire a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician. New graduates (or those about to graduate) are strongly encouraged to apply and mentorship is available. The LVT is a vital part of our hospital team and is highly utilized.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of an LVT/CVT include but are not limited to:
  • Client education, history taking
  • Patient care and treatment
  • Basic lab work, radiography, dental prophies
  • Anesthesia monitoring, triage
  • Patient induction

Licensed Veterinary Technician Qualifications      

  • Ability to process an emergency in a calm and confident manner
  • Ability to work on feet all day
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and work independently, willingness to help out wherever needed, have a current technician certificate (or those taking exam in next 4-6 months) and have open availability to be scheduled during our business hours.
We are a drug, alcohol and tobacco-free employer and work environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application. Reliable transportation to and from work is a must! Applicants must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check prior to hiring.
