Snohomish Station Animal Hospital is an established full-service animal hospital looking to hire a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician. We are passionate about quality medicine, great customer service, and ensuring our employees are valued and respected. We truly operate as a team, and our mantra is work hard and have fun!

The ideal candidate is an experienced LVT, however new graduates (or those about to graduate) are strongly encouraged to apply and mentorship is available. The LVT is a vital part of our hospital team and is highly utilized. We are seeking mature, motivated people with good communication skills and an interest in contributing to the community. Creativity and a positive outlook are valued. The ideal candidate will be available during clinic operating hours, including Saturdays.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

The responsibilities of an LVT/CVT include but are not limited to:
  • Client education, history taking
  • Patient care and treatment
  • Basic lab work, radiography, dental prophies
  • Anesthesia monitoring, triage
  • Patient induction
  • Ability to process an emergency in a calm and confident manner
Licensed Veterinary Technician Qualifications:
  • Valid LVT credentials in Washington State
  • Ability to work on feet all day
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and work independently, willingness to help out wherever needed, have a current technician certificate (or those taking exam in next 4-6 months) and have open availability to be scheduled during our business hours.

We are a drug-, alcohol- and tobacco-free employer and work environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of application. Reliable transportation to and from work is a must! Applicants must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check prior to hiring.
