The responsibilities of an LVT/CVT include but are not limited to:
  • Client education, history taking
  • Patient care and treatment
  • Basic lab work, radiography, dental prophies
  • Anesthesia monitoring, triage
  • Patient induction
  • Ability to process an emergency in a calm and confident manner
Licensed Veterinary Technician Qualifications:
  • Valid LVT credentials in Texas or pending credentials within 6-8 months
  • Ability to work on feet all day
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, ability to multitask and work independently, willingness to help out wherever needed, have a current technician certificate (or those taking exam in next 6-8 months) and have open availability to be scheduled during our business hours.
